A man from the United Kingdom is scouring social media hoping to find family he believes may now live in New Mexico. Billy Halliday posted the request to sister station KOAT’s ulocal group on Facebook. In the post, Halliday writes that he is looking for his grandfather’s aunt and uncle, George and Elizabeth Smith. The Smiths relocated from the U.K. to the U.S. many years ago and have eight children: Paul, Neil, Lawrence, Keith, Graham, Eric, Stuart and Beatrice. Halliday told KOAT the Smiths originally moved to Ohio in the 1950s, where they inherited land but eventually moved to Albuquerque. He included a photo with an address on Breece Road in southwest Albuquerque. Halliday said he thinks one brother, Neil, lives in Los Lunas with his wife Linda, but is unsure where the other siblings live.
