“We have to be very clear – an employer cannot mandate an employee coming back to work if they’re on quarantine. An employee does not have to return to work if they’re on quarantine orders,” he said. “Get the name of the person that’s under quarantine and we’ll get the name of the business that is mandating them. And we’ll make sure that that employee is, in fact, quarantining and we’ll make sure that employer knows that they cannot mandate an employee back to work.”
