Studies in the U.S. have shown the vaccine to be 72-percent effective against COVID-19, lower than Pfizer and Moderna, though some experts have suggested that may be because of when Johnson & Johnson tested the vaccine – during a period of high infection – which could make the vaccine falsely appear to be less effective.
