Clouds increase overnight but it will stay warm with temperatures only dipping into the 40s! Highs Thursday will be in the mid and upper 50s in the Champlain Valley and near or even above 60 in southern Vermont! We may see some record high temperatures. The wind will pick up even a little bit more as a cold front nears our area, with gusts near 30 mph and stronger in the mountains. It will also prompt a few light rain showers, especially overnight.Once the front passes we’ll be back to the dry and sunny weather for Friday with temperatures starting to fall. That said it will still be a really nice end to the work week with slightly less wind and temperatures still well into the 40s.The weekend brings more seasonable temperatures in the 30s and a breezy northwest wind both days. Most will stay dry but a few flurries are possible each day, no major storms though and it stays that way for the start of next week with sunshine in the forecast for Monday even if it will be chilly.
