Now. NBC 5. 1st Warning Weather with Meteorologist Tyler Jankowski. Well, Tyler the nice weather for graduations today. And you also got some video out on the slopes in May. I know everyone wants to go to the beach, but look at this footage from superstar. That’s the top of the superstar glacier. There just a really nice day on the slopes. I think I have a little bit of sunburn. But are you in a T shirt? I was in a T shirt and shorts and I didn’t follow on. Everyone says it’s like landing on pavement if you do so. Been lucky so far. Look at these highs, we had 78 in Burlington. Lebanon also had 78. So No 80s on this map. But there are a lot of 80s in the forecast. It seems like All of a sudden we’ve just flipped a switch here and you know, sometimes it takes till June for that to happen this in this part of the country. But it seems a little early here as we go forward right now, Plattsburgh has 62, so it’s a very comfortable night out there and the weather headlines show a very warm week ahead. There are some minor storm chances. It just comes with the territory. Once we Warm into the 80s, it’s easier to get those storm chances. We’re not seeing any big ones though. I think the best chance for 90 90 would be Wednesday as we head into the mid part of next week. So it’s still 67 in Burlington 53 in Springfield, 62 in Newport right now and on Storm tracker we’re seeing some clouds, but any of the showers from a couple of hours ago are gone. They’re just the kind that pop up during the afternoon. So I think again tomorrow there will be some of those darker clouds that occasionally put down a Sprinkle, maybe even some lightning and the heavier ones you’ll notice here tomorrow afternoon there’s one that pops up over essex county new york so that might have some lightning. Just something to keep in mind if you’ll be outside. But I think a lot of areas will stay dry so it’s sort of like it was today, monday starts out with total sunshine and then we do it again mountains. Especially monday afternoon could see a little shower, maybe a rumble of thunder. So if you’re doing any hiking, just keep that in mind. It’s a possibility as we go forward, Tuesday though I think is dry and it features a mixture of sunshine and clouds. But we’re off to the races by that point in the temperature department 76. Tomorrow is a little cooler than today as we head into sunday, but 80 82 on Tuesday and the best chance for 90 there, Wednesday thinking that day because it looks dry and also the brightest the potential is there later in the week. But we also bring in the chance for some showers, so not quite as warm once we get towards the end of the week, but still very impressive for late May. So 49 the low in Burlington Plattsburgh tonight, similar tomorrow, just a little bit cooler I think, with again a couple of spots, especially the mountains seeing a shower at one point or another 67 in Saranac lake and for southern Vermont 73 in Bellows Falls. So we’ll keep that minor little shower chance in there on monday, but Tuesday looks dry and as I mentioned, Wednesday’s dry. So Wednesday looks hot. Records could fall in a couple of spots, thursday also probably mostly dry, but there’s a little bit of rain that probably comes close to the better chance for showers, and an afternoon storm comes in later in the week, so it does look a little cooler for next weekend, but still Above average average, has 69 and for a long time to come, we are well above that Liz. All right, Tyler, thank you so much. Mhm. Right.
