It will be a lovely Wednesday morning with temperatures in the 40s and 40s again with some sun once it comes up. It will remain a pretty nice day into the afternoon with temperatures climbing into the low 80s in the Champlain Valley. Clouds will fill out gradually though and will eventually bring rain. The bulk of the rain will hold off until after dinner but will lift south to north as the evening goes on. Steadier and at times heavy rain will fall overnight.Rain does become more scattered on Thursday but will be heavy at times, you may even hear a rumble of thunder. By the end of Thursday northern New York could get up to an inch while most of the rest of the area will be around a quarter to a half inch. Thursday will also start to feel a little muggy with temperatures in the low 70s.Humidity climbs even more Friday with temperatures back near 80 Friday afternoon and a mix of sun and clouds and a slight chance at a few stray showers or quick storms.The heat really gets going this weekend. Highs Saturday and Sunday will be near and above 90 with the humidity making it feel pretty uncomfortable. Get the AC units out and make some time to get out by the water to cool off this weekend! Sun is expected each day but with the heat and humidity it’s possible a few storms bubble up.The heat and humidity are going nowhere. Monday will be just as hot, if not hotter, and still extremely humid. In fact, not much changes all the way through Wednesday.
