WEDNESYDA MORNING, THE NEW NEIGHBORS WOULD BECOME THE TALK OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. >>HR TEE OF HER DUCKLINGS FELL INTO A STORM SEWER AND YOU COULD HEAR MOM. THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND MOTHER DUCK WATCHED INTENTLY AS THE DELEGATE — ELLICOTT RESCUE UNFOLDED. WATCH: Neighbors team up to get ducklings rescued from storm grate
Three ducklings were rescued after falling down a storm grate in a Pittsburgh community on Wednesday morning. Some neighbors in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood saw that the mother duck was upset and called for help.”She was very distressed, and the neighbors came together when they realized this had happened, that the ducklings were in the sewer, and we called Animal Control, who called the water company,” said Julie Arnheim.Crews were able to reunite the ducklings with their mother in a nearby after getting the grate up.Watch the video above to see the ducklings’ journey to safety.
