Crews from the Vermont Agency of Transportation were working Thursday morning to assess and repair a road left damaged by strong storms on Wednesday.Route 78 in the area of Campbell Bay Road in Swanton was shut down late Wednesday night after part of it was washed out.The roadway remained shut down as of 7:30 a.m. Thursday.NBC5 News spoke with workers when they began work on assessing the damage.
