Watertown woman killed in bike, pickup truck crash

TOWN OF WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – A Watertown woman on a bicycle died after a collision with a pickup truck Thursday afternoon.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office identifies her as 67-year-old Mary Jo Reynolds.

The crash happened in front of the Eagles Club on Route 11, also known as Outer Washington Street, in the town of Watertown at approximately 12:19 p.m.

Officials said the Reynolds was bicycling south on the northbound shoulder of the road when she was struck by a northbound pickup, driven by 18-year-old Dylan Coburn of Adams Center.

Reynolds was taken to Samaritan Medical Center, where she died.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the crash is under investigation.
