A North Carolina Walmart cashier has taken her customer service to the next level singing to customers throughout the pandemic. Cheryll Watkins is a cashier at a Walmart in Greensboro. She’s worked through the height of the pandemic as an essential worker and started singing to uplift customers’ spirits.One of the customers that came through her line sent our sister station WXII a video of Watkins singing, calling her a “pandemic hero” for uplifting people during difficult times. “I just want people to be happy and enlightened, be encouraged.
