Death of Bethel man ruled accidental by medical examiners
Medical examiners have ruled the death of a Vermont man last summer as accidental. In an autopsy, medical officials stated 35-year-old James Lumbra died of “substance abuse, acute mix intoxication.” Information from the report was partially released by Vermont State Police on Thursday afternoon. Lumbra’s remains were found inside a tent outside of his residence on July 15, according to police reports. Police had originally stated the death did “not appear suspicious” without providing additional details.
