A Spirit Airlines flight departing from Atlantic City Airport on Saturday was aborted after a large bird flew into one of the plane’s engines and sparked a fire as it attempted to take off, officials say.The plane was headed down the runway, destined for Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when the bird collided with the plane.
