The TV-style confirmed the news yesterday revealing he plans to give up the coveted hosting role. In summer 2023. James shared that 7.5 years ago he started hosting the show adding that there is no other way to put it. It has changed his life and he loves it. He went on to say that he loves all the people that worked there and he is so proud of what they’ve achieved before revealing that he signed *** new contract to carry on hosting the Late Late show. James then explained that when he started this journey, he never saw it as his final destination and never wanted the show to overstay its welcome, adding that he thinks in *** year from now will be *** good time to move on and see what else might be out there. The Gavin and Stacey star insisted he still has *** year to go but fought back tears as he talked about walking away. He added that they are all determined to make this the best year they have ever had making the show and they are going to go out with *** bang insisting that there is going to be carpools and crosswalks and sketches and other surprises. James also said there will be so many tears because this has been the hardest decision he’s ever had to make.
