State police are searching for a Vermont man as a result of an ongoing investigation into alleged sexual assaults involving children.Troopers have issued an arrest warrant for Carl Sanborn, 52, of Barnett. He is wanted for repeated aggravated sexual assault of a child involving three victims and lewd and lascivious conduct with a child.State police say the incidents occurred over the course of several years, when the victims were between 4 and 15 years old.An investigation that began earlier this month has so far identified four victims. Police say they have been trying to locate Sanborn but he has thus far eluded them.Anyone with information about Sanborn’s whereabouts is asked to call the St. Johnsbury state police at 802-748-3111.
