Sullivan is very famous in the world of horseshoes.”I feel like a celebrity every time I look at my page,” Sullivan said.Sullivan’s opponents are often much older, which isn’t surprising considering he just reached double digits.”I tried to teach him the basics and certain things that mess me up and struggle with, I try to teach him those first, so he doesn’t fall into the same footsteps, and he’s run with it from there,” Evan Sullivan, Eli’s dad, said. “He told me before I even started building these pits up that daddy I want to be a world champion, and as a parent you tell him you can do anything you set your mind to.
