Meanwhile, a significant lake- effect snowfall is expected in southwestern Saint Lawrence County with localized storm total snow amounts Friday through Sunday morning of one to two feet. Drier conditions and a recovery to near normal temperatures will follow by the middle of next week. The biggest lake-effect snowstorm in years kicks off Friday morning.Some of that snow will reach into northern New York on Friday. The biggest lake-effect snowstorm in years kicks off Friday morning.

Some of that snow will reach into northern New York on Friday. Over a foot of snow is expected in southern St. Lawrence County!

The weekend looks quieter here, with more sun, just a few snow showers, and temperatures still in the 30s.
