The Readsboro Fire Department investigating a fatal fire.It happened at about 3 a.m. Friday morning on Grinka Road.When firefighters got to the home, it was engulfed in flames and a woman was not accounted for.While searching the home, that woman was found dead in the kitchen near the main entrance to the home.Investigators said the fire did so much damage that they were limited in their abilities to determine the origin and cause of the fire but they do not think the fire is suspicious. The victim’s name has not been released.
