Despite the pressure, Hartford goalie Nella Bowen stood up to the challenge and rejected the Hornets’ shots for the rest of the game.From there, Sophia Trombley got the scoring party started for the Hurricanes as they stormed through the Essex defense on the way to a big 5-2 win.Hartford looks to improve upon its 2-0 on the season against Burlington and Colchester on Saturday, while Essex looks for its first win of the season on the same day against Kingdom Blades.
