Vermont’s Agency of Agriculture has officially given Santa Claus and his nine reindeer the green light to fly into and through the state of Vermont this Christmas.The agency posted an update to its Facebook page which said the state veterinarian, Dr. Kristin Haas, has determined the reindeer team is in good health and fit for travel at altitudes up to 10,000 feet or less.The post continued, “Vermont’s highest peak is under 5,000 feet so this allowance should be sufficient to ensure safe passage throughout the Green Mountain State. Please note your certificate of veterinary inspection number is VT122422FLYHIGH. This travel pass expires on midnight of Christmas day.
