Day three of the games brought the largest crowds yet, packing Main Street for an evening of fun events

NBC5’S JACK MAIN IS LIVE IN LAKE PLACID… WITH MORE ON ALL THE FUN ACTIVITIES… VISTORS HAVE BEEN ENJOYING THERE SO FAR. JACK? (áááLIVEááá) “Hey I got my first subject! “Hey I got subject! Whats you’re name?” “Tyrone” “What brings you to Lake Placid?” “Bobsledding I represent team Jamaica, but this is like home for the Jamaica Bobsled team.” “Home for the Jamaica Bobsled team, so you guys are playing with home field advantage!” “Ah haha, I wouldn’t say that but you know we try to keep up with the guys who are born and raised here. We “Looks like we’re coming up to what could be the main event of the evening. We’re not going to go for too much longer, I know my videographer Jake needs a rest. Hey we got a guy right here whats your name?” “Eric Wilson.” “Eric Wilson what brings you to Lake Placid?” Im actually the guy running all the AV stuff here. “This is the guy that makes it possible! “I’m the one that designed the lights, and the stage and the video wall. So we started a year ago understanding the concept of everything. And of course everything changes…. its been in flux for that whole time. I’ve got some new friends down here on main street, what are your guys names? Ted and Lisa! WHAT IS ONE EVENT YOU”RE LOOKING FORWARD TO? SKI JUMPING. EVERYTHING ON MAIN STREET IS AWESOME TOO. Let’s party like it’s 1980!Day three of the FISU World University Games brought the largest crowds so far to Lake Placid, as activities away from the mountain and arenas had fans flooding the closed-off main road for hours.Spectators enjoyed family-friendly fun such as live music, fire dancers, mini ski jumps, and roasting marshmallows. Watch as NBC5’s Jack Main takes a stroll down Main Street to check out some of the festivities!

Day three of the FISU World University Games brought the largest crowds so far to Lake Placid, as activities away from the mountain and arenas had fans flooding the closed-off main road for hours.
