A patch of light to moderate wet snow will bring a few inches of accumulation Sunday morning and afternoon.

  • No accumulation: Brattleboro, Bennington, Springfield
  • Dusting to 2″: Ticonderoga, Rutland, Lebanon, St. Johnsbury
  • 2-4″: Plattsburgh, Burlington, Middlebury, Newport, St. Albans, Swanton
  • 4-8″: Malone, Massena, Potsdam

Drier weather returns Monday.

Polar vortex

A cold snap will impact the region in the latter half of next week, as the polar vortex makes its way south.

This will result in the coldest weather of the season so far, with subzero temperatures at night likely, and daytime highs barely reaching the double digits.
