LERAY, New York (WWNY) – An early morning crash in the town of LeRay Wednesday caused multiple injuries and shut down part of U.S. Route 11.
Reports of a crash involving two cars and a tractor trailer came through just after 5 a.m.
State police at the scene say a member of the military was flown to Syracuse to be treated for injuries. Their condition is not known at this time.
A woman and her three children were taken to to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown for treatment of minor injuries.
One person was trapped in their vehicle, but was quickly removed.
Both lanes of Route 11 from Town Line road to Gardnerville road in the Town of LeRay are still blocked off to traffic.
Fort Drum military police are also at the scene.
State police are asking anyone who may have seen the crash to call them at 315-366-6000.
