Don’t forget to “spring forward” at 2:00 AM Sunday, March 12 – clocks move ahead one hour 🕑Early next week, we’re watching a potentially bigger storm across the Northeast, as a coastal storm approaches, bringing the risk for heavy, wet snow to parts of the region.As of now, expecting a few valley rain and mountain snow showers Monday, with the main slug of moisture pushing into the region Monday night.Expecting light rain in valley locations and wet snow for the higher terrain Monday night, eventually flipping to mostly snow throughout the day Tuesday. A wintry mix will be possible for the Champlain Valley throughout Tuesday, as temperatures will be marginal in the mid 30s.Snow continues Tuesday night, then wrapping up with snow showers heading into Wednesday.At this point, the highest snow totals look likely in the higher terrain of southern and central Vermont, as well as, the southern Adirondacks.Depending on storm track, a few inches of snow accumulation are possible across Northern New York and Vermont.Stay tuned for updated timing and amounts for next week’s storm throughout the weekend.
