The Louisville Metro Police are saying that four people are dead and eight are injured after a shooting Monday morning in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The shooter was also found dead. Police said it is unclear if the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, or was killed by officers.Police have not released the shooter’s identity but said that the person did have a connection to the bank. The Louisville Metro Police are saying that four people are dead and eight are injured after a shooting Monday morning in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The shooter was also found dead.

Police said it is unclear if the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, or was killed by officers.

Governor says he lost close friends

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear appeared emotional at a Monday morning press conference following the shooting.

“I have a very close friend who didn’t make it today. And I have another close friend who didn’t, either. And one who’s at the hospital that I hope is gonna make it through,” Beshear said. “So when we talk about praying, I hope that people will.”
