A Westminster man was arrested on Tuesday after state police said he assaulted a victim with a baseball bat.Vermont State Police received a 911 call on Tuesday evening from a woman who said her husband was being actively attacked by a man with a baseball bat.When troopers arrived, they arrested 31-year-old Troy Thibodeau on charges of aggravated assault. An investigation determined that Thibodeau knowingly assaulted the victim with a deadly weapon, according to police.The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack, police said.Thibodeau was arrested and later released with a criminal citation to appear in court on Wednesday to answer to the charges.
