Enosburg Falls Hosts 67th VT Dairy Festival
“The whole festival is the grand finale.”
Sunday was the fourth and final day of the Vermont Dairy festival, where people from all across our region came together to celebrate the yearly tradition.The festival celebrated its 67th year. Main Street was shut down since Thursday, as people of all ages celebrated all things Vermont — and dairy.The festival is organized by the Enosburg Falls Lions Club. It’s the group’s biggest fundraiser, with 12,000 to 15,000 people estimated to have attended. All proceeds made from the festival go back to the community.There were tons of attractions and vendors for attendees to enjoy, including bingo, live music, rides, and so much more.One of the festival organizers said it couldn’t have been possible without “the totally dedicated community”.A popcorn vendor from St. Albans, Cedric White, shared his experience working at this year’s festival: “As a former dairy farmer from Fairfield, it’s nice to see everybody get together, and hang out, and grab a bag of popcorn and some lemonade. It’s a really good gig for everybody to get together.”
