
Three people were seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash in Colchester on Monday.Colchester Police said Christopher Sizen of Jeffersonville was driving west on College Parkway on Monday at 9 a.m. when he struck another vehicle that was turning from Route 15 onto Barnes Avenue. The driver of that vehicle, identified as John Saari of South Burlington and an unnamed female passenger sustained serious injury and were transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment. Sizen was also injured in the crash.Police believe speed and drug use as well as lack of seatbelt use were factors leading up to the crash.Route 15 was closed for short period of time as crews worked to fix a light pole that was damaged during the incident.Anyone with additional information about the crash is asked to contact the Colchester Police Department at 802-264-5555.
