The Colchester Police Dept. said it received a call around 3:25 p.m. Saturday for a report of human remains floating a short distance off the shore of Colchester Point.Officers located human skeletal remains about six feet from the shore line.The Colchester Police Marine Unit arrived on scene and recovered the remains.The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification and an autopsy.At this point, police said the investigation is in its earliest stages and there’s no indication of foul play.
