Heat wave continues through Thursday
Storms arrive late week to send temperatures back to seasonable levels
A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect from 1 PM Tuesday through 7 PM Thursday, due to heat index values rising into the mid-upper 90s.After a few morning clouds Tuesday, plenty of sun is expected by afternoon. The hot and humid stretch continues, with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.Highs temperatures likely reach or exceed 90 degrees in some towns again on Wednesday and Thursday.
