
Vermont State Police investigating a suspicious death Friday night in Waltham.Police responded to McKnight Lane at about 7 p.m. after receiving a call regarding a fight between neighbors followed by a shooting. When the trooper got there, a woman was dead. Right now, no one is currently in custody, but police believe this was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community. Police are not releasing the names of the people involved while they investigate.The body of the woman will be brought to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
