Vermont State Police is trying to figure out who is behind an email that made reference to a future school shooting in Plainfield.Police got a call on Thursday morning from the Twinfield Union School after a faculty member at the school discovered an email from an unknown individual. The email mentioned a shooting at the school that would be carried out at a later date. According to their website, Twinfield Union School is a unique school that serves grades P-K to 12th in the communities of Plainfield and Marshfield.State Police found nothing unusual on the school’s campus, but coordinated with school officials to keep a presence on campus for most of the day.
