Vermont State Police are asking for public assistance locating a man who allegedly threatened people with a knife on Sunday in Marshfield. Police were dispatched to the Marshfield Village Store just after 10 p.m. Sunday. Troopers received a report about a man, identified as Kyle Bressette, that was attempting to steal gas. When bystanders confronted him, Bressette threatened them with the knife. Police say Bressette also had an active warrant for his arrest.When they arrived in the area, troopers say Bressette pulled the knife on them and ran away. His current whereabouts are unknown.The Vermont State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in attempting to locate Bressette.
