WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – The city of Watertown is hiring.
With many openings, the city held a job fair Wednesday afternoon.
There are openings for firefighters and in law enforcement, as well as in engineering, maintenance, teaching, and the Department of Public Works.
“Qualifications for entry level DPW positions is high school graduation / GED,” city human resources manager Matthew Roy said. “That’s for the entry level. As you work your way up the ranks, you need your CDL license and experience depending on which level of position you’re applying for.”
People from Flower Memorial Library were also at the job fair offering resources for people looking to take any Civil Service tests.
