CCE offers Master Gardener training

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Want to become a Master Gardener? Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County can help.

CCE’s Sue Gwise talked about Master Gardener training that starts in January.

Watch the video for her interview on 7 News This Morning.

The training is Tuesdays and Thursdays at the CCE offices at 203 North Hamilton Street in Watertown. The 12-week course runs January through March and covers all aspects of gardening and horticulture.

The course costs $200. There’s an information session on December 5.

Once trained, master gardeners have to give back a number of hours each year doing gardening projects in the community.
