Champlain College eSports team to host Extra Life benefit for UVM Children’s Hospital
All proceeds will go to fund treatments, research and pediatric medical equipment for the hospital.
Champlain College students will be gaming for a cause this weekend, as the school’s eSports team looks to raise money to support the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital.The 9th annual Extra Life gaming marathon is set to begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, and will see students gaming and engaging in tournaments for a full 48 hours as they raise money for The Children’s Miracle Network.All proceeds will go to fund treatments, research and pediatric medical equipment for the hospital.Last year, students exceeded their fundraising goal, netting nearly $4,000 for the hospital.A donation page for the event is available here.
