WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Police say a man suffered severe injuries to his face, including a broken orbital bone and nose, after being assaulted with a flashlight Friday night at 661 Factory Street.
Arrested was 58-year-old Stephen Myers. Police charged him with 2nd degree assault, saying he provided the flashlight to another person who then hit the victim. Myers also is charged with 4th Degree Criminal Facilitation and 2nd Degree Obstructing Governmental Administration.
The man hit with the flashlight had to be flown to a Syracuse hospital for treatment.
Police expect another arrest as they look for the person who struck the victim with the flashlight.
