WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – One lacrosse coach is taking on a battle off the field.
Kirk Ventiquattro is known for his success on the lacrosse field. Coaching at Carthage, he put together 458 wins along with 24 league championships, and six Section III titles and recently has coached the Philippines national team…
His biggest contribution, though, has been away from the lacrosse field. He has battled prostate cancer for a dozen years, and in doing so has shown the power of positive thinking and a strong will that has inspired others who are battling the disease.
Ventiquattro is helping to raise money with different events planned.
For Ventiquattro, there’s more to fighting cancer than just raising money.
Kirk Ventiquattro, carrying those winning ways from the lacrosse field to a bigger battle.
