WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Most of today will be dry, but that changes by late afternoon.
We’ll have increasing clouds into the afternoon. Highs will be around 40.
Following that is a potential mess of mixed precipitation. What exactly we get depends on the temperature where it’s falling at the time. We could see sleet, freezing rain, and snow before it changes to all rain overnight.
That’s why we have winter weather advisories. One for Jefferson, Lewis, and Oswego counties starts at 3 p.m. today and lasts until 4 a.m. on Wednesday. An advisory for St. Lawrence County and parts of the Adirondacks starts at 4 p.m. today and lasts until 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Rain could linger into Wednesday morning. It will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-40s.
It’s looking pretty good for Thanksgiving. It will be mainly dry with a small chance of rain before 8 a.m. Highs will be in the low 40s.
Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 30s.
It will be mostly sunny on Saturday and mostly cloudy on Sunday. Highs will be in the mid- to upper 30s both days.
Monday will be mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of mixed precipitation. Highs will be around 40.
