YEAH. YOU KNOW, WE’RE ACTUALLY SET BECAUSE IN THE SECTION THAT WE’RE STANDING IN, THEY HAVE HEATERS. SO FOR ANYONE THAT’S SITTING IN THE 200 SECTION, ABOUT FIVE, ROW FIVE AND UP YOU’RE SET. YOU GOT HEATERS ON TOP OF YOU. YOU ARE GOOD. HOWEVER, THE REST OF THE STADIUM DEFINITELY COME IN YOUR SNOW GEAR AND BE PREPARED TO BE COLD. THIS IS WHAT THE STADIUM LOOKS LIKE RIGHT NOW. THE FIELD PRACTICALLY ALMOST CLEAR. WE DO HAVE A FEW TO, YOU KNOW, SOME SNOW IN ONE OF THE END ZONES. THERE. AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE LITTLE MACHINES, THEY’RE BRINGING THEM DOWN. THEY’RE LOADING THE TRUCKS UP. BUT BY 430 THIS PLACE IS GOING TO BE READY FOR KICKOFF. AS FOR THE STANDS, AS YOU CAN SEE, THAT IS A VERY DIFFERENT STORY. WE TALKED TO THE GUYS DOWN HERE THAT WERE SHOVELING. THEY ACTUALLY WORK IN THE TICKET OFFICE. SO THEY DO WORK FOR THE BUFFALO BILLS. THEY SAID THEY’VE BEEN HERE SINCE 10 A.M. AS FOR THOSE THAT YOU KNOW, CAME AND VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME, THEY’RE PROBABLY DOWN IN LIKE LIKE THE 100 SECTIONS, WHICH I’M IMAGINING THEY’RE GOING TO START WORKING ON SOON BECAUSE YOU CAN KIND OF SEE THEY’RE STILL COVERED IN SNOW. BUT THAT IS A SITUATION HERE IN ORCHARD PARK INSIDE HIGHMARK STADIUM. WE’RE GOING TO KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED THOUGH, ONLINE AS WELL AS ON WTAE.COM. BUT FOR NOW LIVE HERE

More than 60 people help shovel snow at Buffalo football stadium ahead of Bills-Steelers game
“I mean, we would shovel a section out, and within, I’d say, half an hour, it’ll be back, filled up completely,” Logan Eschrich said.
Logan Eschrich went to Buffalo from Alabama to storm chase. He ended up getting stranded in Buffalo and thought, why not stay and help shovel the feet of snow in below-freezing temperatures? “Someone tagged me that the Bills are looking for somebody to help snow shovel. I was like, well, I’ll do my shots of camera work and then go shovel snow for the day to help out the local community,” Eschrich said. He said there were about 60 to 80 people, all working in below-zero temperatures with snow falling at a fast rate. Eschrich said he was out there for about seven and a half hours.”I mean, 4 to 5 inches an hour of snowfall rates and just bitter cold with 45 to 55 mile an hour winds all day. I mean, we would shovel a section out, and within, I’d say, half an hour, it’ll be back, filled up completely,” Eschrich said. Logan said the cold was indescribable, but managed to offer this comparison.”Open your freezer up and stick your face in it and just let it sit there for five minutes and you’ll feel your nose starts getting like a prickly feeling and you get wind-burned terribly,” Eschrich said. And for fans who are still upset about the game being postponed, saying “It’s just snow,” Eschrich had a message for them:”We definitely were not going to be able to play (Sunday). They probably would have thrown the football and it probably would’ve flown across the stadium by itself to the other end zone,” Eschrich said.
