A New Hampshire woman suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a tractor-trailer and another motorist on Thursday morning in Ashland.New Hampshire State Police said 40-year-0ld Elizabeth Bourbeau, of Laconia, was driving north on Interstate 93 at 11 a.m. when she hit a section of guardrail for unknown reasons.The impact caused Bourbeau’s car to spin around into the path of a commercial tractor-trailer that was hauling woodchips behind her. The driver of that vehicle was unable to stop and struck her Chevy Equinox.The tractor-trailer continued on and struck a second vehicle that was also heading north, a Ford F150 operated by a Massachusetts man.Bourbeau suffered life-threatening injuries from the crash and was airlifted to Concord Hospital for treatment. Neither the tractor-trailer driver nor the pickup truck driver were injured.State police were assisted on scene by multiple departments, including Ashland Fire Rescue and the Ashland Police Department.
