Police are adding additional patrols at Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg following an alleged school threat on Friday morning.Vermont State Police and the Hinesburg Police Department received a call at 9:35 a.m. about a threat involving a person from outside the school community. Troopers and police responded to the school, and CVU has increased security protocols around access to the school building, but classes are proceeding as normal.Dismissal will also be held at the regularly scheduled time, according to police. Law enforcement will remain on site until the end of the school day.Investigators said that due to the age of the individuals involved, no additional information about the incident is available.
