Snow misses our region Tuesday, but air travel still to be impacted
Tuesday’s coastal storm has shifted south, meaning no snow is expected even in southern Vermont.Although the snow misses locally, there will still be air travel disruptions from heavy, wet snow that falls in the Mid Atlantic and parts of southern New England. As of Monday evening, two Delta Airlines flights from Burlington International Airport to New York City have already been cancelled.Additional delays and cancellations are expected for flights to and from Philadelphia and New York City on Tuesday.
