In support of boosting the city’s economy and tourism, Lennon backs a waterfront hotel proposal that was rejected by the Common Council in the past year. He sees it as an opportunity to utilize the scenic lakefront property effectively. “I’ve never been one to shy away from a hard fight. I’m a long-distance runner, I’ve got a lot of grit, and I’m going to work my butt off for this city,” Lennon said.NBC5 reached out to the Plattsburgh Democratic Committee for comment, with expectations that the group will endorse a candidate soon.
