THIS BOOK TAUGHT THEM HOW TO BECOME THEIR OWN BOSSES AND LEARN MORE ABOUT MONEY. FROM THERE, THEY WERE INSPIRED TO MAKE THEIR OWN BOOK, BUT IN A FUN WAY. >> WE WANT TO WRITE OUR OWN BOOK TOO. THIS. THIS SEEMS COOL. IT IT SHOULDN’T BE TOO HARD. WE’RE GOING TO THE CLASSES AND MAKING BREEDING SEASON FOR US. SO NO CHILDREN OUR AGE WANT TO LEARN HOW TO READ SO THEY DON’T HAVE TO GO TO PASS. ‘Boss Brothers’ work to teach financial literacy to kids
The trio known as the “Boss Brothers” created their own brand and published a book to help kids just like them learn more about financial literacy.The group consists of 13-year-old Nicholas Brown Jr. and 10-year-olds Khaliq and Kharim Brown.This all started back in 2020 when their father gave them an early Christmas gift, a book called “Escape the Rat Race.” The book taught them how to become their own bosses and learn more about money. From there, they were inspired to make their own book, Boss Brothers: Learning to Earn.”We’re going to classes making reading seem fun. So, children our age want to know how to read so they don’t have to go the path that everyone is going,” said Kharim Brown.The brothers believe this will help decrease the amount of youth crime and violence in the capital city.”If they know how to make their own money, you shouldn’t have to take someone else’s money,” said Nicholas Brown Jr.The parents of the trio are proud of their progress and will continue to prepare them for the future.”Most people nowadays, instead of working one job, they have to work several jobs, so it’s better to teach them early so they can make their own money now, and instills a certain level of confidence in them now,” said Nicholas Brown Sr.”Extremely proud, extremely proud,” said Tracee Brown. “They’re so creative. Their ideas just come, and it’s amazing to watch them.”Their work doesn’t stop here.
