In all, Middlebury saw nine different Panthers find mesh.”That’s one of the best parts about this team is how deep we are,” said Shue. “Because we’ve had really close games this season, we haven’t gotten to get so much of this team in.” Head coach Kate Livesay said she was proud of the defensive effort that went into her teams’ blowout performance.”That’s the benefit that goes into playing against this great offense every day,” said Livesay. “Our defense is getting a lot out of our practice opportunities to feel really prepared for games.”With the win, Middlebury wins its 47th consecutive game, with its last loss coming on May 8, 2022.The Panthers will host No. 25 Colorado College in the third round of the tournament on May 18, at a TBD time.
