Vermont Gov. Phil Scott has appointed North Hero resident Andy Julow to fill the vacant Grand Isle district Senate seat.Scott chose Julow to replace Sen. He previously ran his own business for a decade and has experience chairing his local school board, according to the announcement.Julow’s appointment is effective on Tuesday, May 21. He was selected from a list of candidates forwarded by the Democratic parties in the town of Colchester and Grand Isle County.
