Vermont State Police received multiple calls around 12:45 p.m. Sunday about a car driving erratically on Interstate 89 in Richmond.VSP said almost immediately after, they began getting calls that the same car had changed direction and was driving the wrong way, going northbound in the southbound lane.Troopers responding to the scene were told that the car had corrected its direction and began traveling southbound on the interstate at speeds over 90 mph.According to VSP, the car and driver were found in the parking lot of Crossroads Beverage & Deli in Waterbury.The driver has been identified as 51-year-old Ericka Clark, of Barre. Through their investigation, Troopers suspected that Clark was driving impaired.Clark was charged with DUI and Grossly Negligent Operation. She was released on the condition that she appear for her June 13 hearing at Chittenden County Superior Court.
