Downpours, few thunderstorms late Thursday
Cooler, showery stretch Friday through the upcoming weekend
Thursday morning and early afternoon will have lots of clouds and a few spotty showers. Then, a more widespread round of downpours and thunderstorms pushes from west to east during the late afternoon and evening hours. There is potential for 1-2″+ of rain Thursday, where the heaviest downpours pop up, bringing a low risk for isolated flooding. It will be quite humid, but cooler, with highs in the mid-upper 70s.Friday will feature scattered showers and downpours, lots of clouds, and some sun. Highs reach the mid-70s, as it turns less humid.This weekend is looking cool and unsettled. Both days will have many clouds, passing showers, and highs near 70.
