A building on Tupper Lake’s Main Street was destroyed in a blaze overnight, despite efforts from ten different crews to contain the flames.Three fire engines from the Tupper Lake Fire Department responded to Main Street around 2:40 in the morning. Crews from 10 nearby towns including Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Malone also responded to the scene to provide assistance in containing the fire.Despite the firefighters’ best efforts, the building was completely destroyed in the fire.
