Bear makes itself comfortable on family’s hammock in Vermont

A family in Warren got a reverse-goldilocks experience when two bears made themselves comfortable in their backyard.

A Vermont family had an unusual bear sighting this week when one made itself comfortable in their hammock. Viewers told NBC5 the two bears raided their yard in Warren Tuesday morning, just down the road from Sugarbush Resort. They shared a video of the encounter. We’re told the bears have been very active this year in the Slidebrook Basin. See the video in the player above to watch the encounter.

WARREN, Vt. —

A Vermont family had an unusual bear sighting this week when one made itself comfortable in their hammock.

Viewers told NBC5 the two bears raided their yard in Warren Tuesday morning, just down the road from Sugarbush Resort. They shared a video of the encounter.

We’re told the bears have been very active this year in the Slidebrook Basin.
